Having been to five shops in Chicago (including super dawg and Portillos) and various others shops across the nation, Margo's is the best Chicago dogs I have ever had.

If you like quality hot dogs, this place is for you! It is fun to support the little guy.

Best dogs in town. Love everything about this place and when I moved away for several years I would crave them. The staff is wonderful and regulars are part of the family.

I'm not from Chicago, but if I ever want anything like authentic Chicago, this the place. I will go back for the Chicago dog and Italian beef. Da Bears!

This is one of my favorite places for lunch. I usually get the Chicago dog and it's always delicious. Best Chicago dog I've had in the Springs by far!

My family loves this place. Great prices, even better dogs. Best hot dogs I've ever had, the kraut dog is my favorite. It takes a little while to get your order but everything is always fresh and made to order so it's understandable. I've never had a bad experience and we've gotten our grub on plenty of times here in the last 2 years we've lived in Colorado Springs.

Really good Chicago dog with good, fresh ingredients. I wish the fries had a little more to them but I would definitely come back for the hotdog! Little sister had a philly and she said it was awesome.

My family always comes here when we're in town. The dogs are fantastic here and I recently had the gyros here and it was also great. We always have fun sitting in the train to eat even though we were rained out last time. You can expect me to come back when I'm in town.

Stopped in for a Chicago dog today on a leisurely drive to Manitou today. Great hot dog... As good as the first one I had here 18 years ago. A must do when in Manitou. (Hey, that rhymes)

This place is great! Pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Great hot dogs at an affordable price and a comfortable atmosphere. This is easily one of my favorite hole-in-the-wall places, even though its not on an actual wall. If you are looking for a good american hot-dog, search no further, this is exactly what you want.

Went there with my husband on our way out of Manitou Springs. We've been in the area for a couple weeks and I am already homesick for midwestern food. So we decided to give Margo's a try. We ordered the Chicago dog, meatball sub, and for a SoCo spin the green chile dog. I was pleasantly surprised by the Chicago dog, it had pretty authentic ingredients dog was on the small side. The meatball sub took 15 mins to make (not sure why, I work in fine dining restaurants and can't figure out how a meatball sub takes 15 mins) it was good but the bread fell apart completely while we were eating. The green chile dog was totally disappointing. It was a weak hot dog with a tiny bit of chile sauce and more onions and peppers than chili sauce. I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars but had to round down because all the hot dogs cost over 3 bucks each.

Friendly staff. Good eats. Sausage, hot dogs and sandwiches. What more could you ask for?! Smiley fries. Hmmm

This place is awesome. I had my first Chicago dog at Margos and was pretty impressed. It's my go to place. I recommend this place to anyone out there. The building might be small but it is so worth the stop.

YES. If you're from Chicago and love a good ol traditional dog.... YES. perfect. If you did a blindfold taste test with a hot dog stand on the south side of Chicago.... No difference. Just awesome. So glad I found this place. Also, very friendly staff and Rene has a lot of SPUNK , which is a good thing :)

Five years traveling the US for 3 weeks a month, 10 months a year... that is 63 meals out a month. And in 15 to 20 cities! I never found a Chicago dog as fantastic as this Margo's Vienna Station creates. This is the Eldorado of Chicago Dogs!!!

This was our second visit to Margo's during trips to see Bro J and TT in The Springs. We always have to have some dogs and Margo's is a good place to go. The Vienna Beef wieners are predictably good if not special. The difference at Margo's is what appear to be their own chile sauces on the dogs. The green chile is my choice since that is not something I can get in St Louis. I even tolerate light onion with it. The red chile is not like Coney sauce and is not just some chile with beans on the dog. It is a tasty version, all their own. My only minor complaint is that the buns get pretty soggy, but they at least they are not large and dry. I did not try the onion rings, but they looked very large and commercial. I'm guessing they are buying them frozen and ready to fry. Just walk in and order your favorite. When we have been there, there has always been a little wait to order so at least in good weather, it does a good business.

Great local family staff. Everything is cooked to order. They steam their buns perfectly!!! Yummy yummy yummy and in the summer they deliver lunch to businesses in the area.

This is the only place to go for a good dog in Colorado Springs. The people are super friendly, they have all different kinds of options, and they taste a million times better than nasty ol Sonic. I always get the Kraut Dog. Comes with German mustard, dill pickle, and sauerkraut. They also have really good onion rings. They are a little pricey, but it is totally worth it. You can also call a head so your order is ready when you get there!

Best place in town for a Chicago style brat. Friendly courteous service. You can sit outside in the beautiful Colorado Springs weather and enjoy your meal.

Had two Kraut Dogs and french fries. It was raining, so I drove into Garden of the Gods and ate them in a parking lot. Delicious!

Ambiance: Very small and quaint little "shack" on the roadside leading from Old Colorado City into Manitou Springs (almost across the road from Amanda's Fonda). Walk inside small structure, order and wait for food. If you like, there is a small deck/patio area on the side of the parking lot if you want to eat there. Service: Very casual and blue-collar, but friendly. Does take a bit for your food (this is not fast food). Food: A good, solid hot dog. Your dog is warmed up in a hot-water bath (not grilled and not microwaved). Traditional toppings. I ordered the Chicago-style, but they were out of the signature pickle spears on my visit. Good, soft bun. Overall, a good place to get your hot dog "fix". Fresh ingredients and good quality dogs and brats. Closed most winter days.

I wanted to love this place, but it closes too early. So alas, I was dogless.
(3)Justin S.
Best dog in Colorado. Good people, good prices!
(4)Stephen G.
I wanted to like it. I really, really wanted to like this. While still eating meat, I begged my wife to stop here for a hotdog. Soooooo disappointing. It was over priced and the product quality was very, very poor. I really wish they would raise their game- They are the only game on the westside for a hotdog stand.
